American Idol/Glee Weekly Update

This week on Glee they did original songs. A welcome difference from them doing covers all the time. It was definitley the best episode of the season by far. My other favorites episodes were the premeire,Rocky Horror Glee Show and Never Been Kissed. I hated how mean Quinn was to Rachel about Finn but I actually think her point is valid. While I was hopeful for awhile that Finn and Rachel would get back together that is looking doubtful now. Rachel needs someone who will treat her with respect. Lots of good muaicla numbers too. and Yay.... Blaine and Kurt are finally a couple. I am so excited! They are so cute!

Rating out of 10: 5 Comments: Like Lil Rounds from two years ago she did a mediocre almost karoke version of this song. Not impressed. She may go home this week.

Paul Birth Year 1984 Song I Guess That's Why They Calll It The Blues Artist Elton John

Rating out of 10: between 6.5 and 7. Comments: Big fan of Elton John. I thought he put a unique twist on it but was still able to remain true to the original artisst

Jacob Birth Year 1987 Song Alone Artist Heart Rating out of 10. 6 Not familar with this song atll all. Thought his rendition was moderate at best.

Pia Birth Year 1988 Song Where Do Broken Hearts Go? Artist Whitney Houston Rating out of 10 : 9 Wonderful song choice for her range. She did wonderful with it.

James Stefano and Karen Birth Year 1989 Songs J-I'll Be There For You Bon Jovi S- If You Don't Know Me By Noe (missed the artist name) K- Love Will Lead You Back (missed artist name) Rating out of 10: J 5.5 S-7 K-8 Not really familiar with any of these songs. I thought this was one of James's weaker performances. KAren and Stefan did awesome. Hopefully James will bounce back for next week

Haylee 1990 Song:I'm Your Baby Artist Whiney Houston She did not do well with song at all. Her performance last week was slighhlty better but not by much Rating out of 10:5

Casey 1991 Song Smells Like Team Spirit Artist Nirvana. Rating out of 10: 9 Not familiar with this song but thought he did an awesome rendition of it.

Scotty Birth Year 1993 Song Can I Trust You With My Heart? Artist Travis Tripp Rating out of 10:9 One word that descirbes his performances is consistant. He always does amazing with whatever song he does..

Lauren 1994 SongI'm The Only One Artist Melissa Etheridge Raiting out ogf 10: 6 Being sick did not help her performance at all. If she is in the top relm of the votes or is saved it will be soley based on pity votes. The was a mediocre performance at best and it would have been better if she wasn't sick

Thia Birth Year 1995 Song Colors of The Wind for Disney's Pochahontas Rating Out of 10: 9 She did very good and had good vocal control through out the song
